Shimmering Moisturizer

This is a two dollar project.  A bottle of cheap moisturizer from Dollar Tree, a used plastic container, and one shimmering powder eye shadow.  The Perfect Purity aloe lotion is in regular rotation at the Microcosm.  It's a cheap product --  but worth using because it sinks into skin really fast.  It also doesn't have much of a scent.

Sprinkle a little bit of the eye shadow in. This is Honeysuckle.  Squeeze in a bit of lotion, then shake.  Repeat again and again.

This bottle only used up about 1/3 of the aloe lotion and isn't overly tinted.  It doesn't look like much, but it is now darker and has more color than the lotion did straight out of the original bottle.

The shimmer is very subtle and not easy to pick up in the picture.  It wasn't intended to be a glittery effect because that would look foolish on a day-to-day basis.  It's also not always the best style for ladies over 50...

Younger and more fashionable females might want to choose a shadow that has more glitter.  It's the type of thing worth experimenting with -- especially since it's so cheap to make!
