This one has many zipper compartments. The one on the outside is probably where I'll keep my quarters to use for the shopping cart at Aldi.
There are two different sections and I'll probably use one to carry coupons. I might be able to fit my cell phone in one side too.
This could accommodate a check-book. Remember the days when we used to carry those in our purse? Now I pay for everything with plastic so I only have to write one check at the end of the month. If I know I'll be going somewhere that doesn't take my card, I'll bring one check with me. I don't carry a check around otherwise in case my wallet is stolen.
While my current wallet is still holding up, I have realized that I am more likely to find clearance wallets in February or March, so that is when I shop for one. I'll retire the old one once it begins to really show signs of wear. I was happy to purchase this so that I have it on hand when I need it. That I followed my rule with a few dollars to spare, is the best part of all.
Very nice wallet! I love TJ Maxx. It is a very good price too. My motto is never to shop when you actually need something. Rather than doing that, I shop around for real good deals and buy something even if I do not need it just then. Wallets, underwear, socks, athletic clothing, sneakers and some other things fall into that category. If there is a good discount, I will buy it. This way, I never spend the full price for anything.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike!
DeleteThat's a nice purse. Mine's from a charity shop (obviously) - it's 1960s and made from Welsh Tapestry with a leather wrist strap. I just keep cash, a Superdrug points car, my cash point card and my shopping list in it. I don't own a mobile phone or a credit card (I'm so last century!) x
ReplyDeleteI am now using a small Gucci purse from the 80's, so I've really pared down. I don't know if the new wallet will fit in it! I do carry a cell phone -- what a waste of money! Life in the US is almost impossible without one. I hate that...
