Groin!!!!
I'll be missing a few days of posting. I pulled a groin muscle and I need to rest in order to recover. Not sure how I did it, but probably from overworking on the weekend, then over-stretching on Monday to try to compensate.
The most painful thing is sitting -- so in addition to not blogging, I'm not really able to drive much either. I've kept up with some of my regular chores, but mostly I just need to rest.
I'll resurface once I can comfortable sit at my desk!

I cannot sit to type. I do it all lying down in bed. I hope you get better soon.
ReplyDeleteI have a laptop that I could use in bed, now that I think of it. One problem is that it gets really hot!
DeleteOw ow ow, I can't even imagine - I hope it heals quickly!
ReplyDeleteRest and muscle relaxants have been helping. I can now walk better -- I think I'm about 85% over it now. Thanks for the thoughts!
DeleteFeel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI figured this would take about a week if I rest it well. This happened to me once in college -- when I was way more active. It's odd to have it suddenly happen decades later.
DeleteI’m sorry you’re suffering with an injury, old injuries I think sometimes come back to haunt us, I found your blog today after being absent for sometime, I’m sorry to hear your beautiful furry friend has been battling cancer, such a beauty, our dog lived five years after his treatment for cancer, died at fifteen, thank goodness for modern veterinary treatments! Take care ,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Laurie! My groin seems to be back to normal. Teddy has a visit scheduled with the oncologist tomorrow and I am hoping her cancer is going slow enough that we can move to every other month check-ins. It is comforting to know your boy did so well after treatment. She doesn't need chemo yet, but if she does, my hope is that it will be that effective for her too.
